Known for such bakery delights and the ‘Cronut‘ {pictured above} – a hybrid pastry fancied out of combining the donut with the croissant.

this sweet and gooey taste of nostalgia with the clever handle – ‘Fro Smo’. Did I say that its made ‘torched to order’?
#Yumlicious!!!! … just add cracker… graham. of course.
With the temperatures still in the single digits, I think that I’d like to snuggle up to one of ‘Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shot’ inspired dessert

Work That A** Wednesday! : High Heels Workout
Good Morning Luv-lies,
Okay, raise your hand with me, if you are too through with all of this snow!
This weather mayhem has gotten in the way of maintaining any normalcy to my workouts!!
Want to go to the gym, can’t get through the mounds of snow….
Finally able to wade through the snow to make it to the street, the gym closed early * Forecast calling for several feet of new snow. Like. Right. Now.*
Arghhhhhh!!! Spring! Where are you?!
I’ve exhausted the fitness workouts on my cable channels, so I went trolling on the ‘net to my ‘You-tube’ channel.
Took me a minute, but, I found this cray-zee HIGH HEEL workout!!
As if, tennis shoes aren’t challenging enough! I’ve done it a couple of times – High Heels and all!
Hell! It can’t be that different from partying at the club… right!

secret fore- {E}dge paintings…. #AtoZChallenge2014
Day #5 of the #AtoZChallenge2014
fore-{E}dge painting, believed to date back to the 1650s, is the artful technique of hiding a painting on the {E}dge of a book. There are two basic forms: (1) paintings on the {E}dges of a book’s leaf, that, reveals the fine work of the artist’s rendering when the pages are fanned and, (2) paintings on the {E}dges of a closed book’s pages. In the closed book form, because the painting is on the closed {E}dge itself the book’s leaf do not need to be fanned to view the artwork.

The intrigue of the first form is that the fanned painting is one that is not visible when the book is closed. Another basic difference is that a painting on the closed {E}dge is painted directly on the surface of the book {E}dge.
For the fanned painting the paint is applied to the top or bottom margin of the book’s leaf and not to the actual “fore”- {E}dge itself.

The above two forms are the most common forms of fore – {E}dge, this is another form where, the book’s leaf are doubled fore-{E}dge paintings, where a different image can be seen by flipping the book over and fanning the pages in the opposite direction.

Momofu What?
Hello Luv-lies,
So I keep coming across this word – Momofuku. Off Hand, there’s not much that I know about this word. As a matter of fact, whenever I come across it, I know that it has something to do with food because it’s almost always on one of the upscale, swanky foodie sites where I hang out. So I did some digging around to find out what this poetically naughty word could possibly mean. I found that the word, in Japanese means, ‘Lucky Peach’.
But according to the Chef-founder of this whole Momofuku thing, the word is “an indirect nod” to Momofuku Ando, the Taiwanese-Japanese inventor of instant ramen.
Lucky Peach. Ramen Noodle. One thing that I’ve learned for sure about Momofuku, is that it has become the most influential restaurant brand here in the States!
My BFFs over at Bon Appetit did a nice job of chronicling the inception and growth of what is said to be one of America’s most important restaurants

Another fact about this interesting word – Momofuku. The Chef-Founder, also suggested it’s not an accident he chose a word that sounds like the English curse word motherf*****. (Hey! We’re all grown here! )
